Gator Jazz Dance Team Earns National Title Making School History
The Ascension Episcopal School Gator Jazz dance team delivered a historic and unforgettable performance at DTU Nationals, making school history with a 1st place finish in Small Varsity Game Day—a monumental achievement for the program.
They continued their tradition of excellence with 4th place finishes in both Small Varsity Pom and Small Varsity Jazz, marking five consecutive years of top-five placements in these highly competitive divisions. Individually, Molly Cormier shined as a senior solo semifinalist, placing 27th out of 180, while Isabella Malespin made an impressive mark in the junior solo division, securing 4th place out of 120. With their dedication, talent, and unstoppable spirit, the Gator Jazz team continues to raise the bar and make their mark on the national stage!
