Ascension awards assistance as determined using the
Blackbaud Financial Aid Management platform, a third-party financial aid analysis service, to ensure fairness in the process. All applications and conversations regarding tuition assistance remain confidential within the Tuition Assistance Committee.
For any financial aid application to be considered, you must first apply for school admission. No tuition assistance will be awarded prior to acceptance at Ascension.
Awards are made for a one-year term. Families must request renewal each year by completing a Financial Aid application form. The Tuition Assistance Committee reviews all financial aid materials and recommends award amounts. Results are reviewed beginning in mid-February, and notification of an award amount (if any) will be sent directly to the family after evaluation. After this, applications will be reviewed at least every two weeks. Please keep in mind that upon completion of the application, it may take a while for the service to return the results. This turnaround time may be longer during busy times of the year.
An application does not guarantee assistance, and assistance granted is limited to the funds available. We encourage families in need of assistance to apply as soon as possible to increase the possibility of getting assistance. Applications open on February 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year.
