The hard-charging Ascension Episcopal defense is anchored by two senior linebackers.

Outside linebacker Beau Domengeaux and inside linebacker Luke Curry, who were first-team all-district selections as juniors, have led the Blue Gators to an 8-1 record and the No. 8 Division IV select power rating heading into this week's regular-season finale against Lafayette Renaissance (6-2).

"They're both really smart kids who can direct traffic along with sophomore inside linebacker Owen LeBlanc," Blue Gators coach Stephen Hearen said. "They put themselves in the right spot without much hesitation and play with great pad level."
